Mexican singer-songwriter Carin León solidified his reign as the new king of Latin music with the announcement that he is joining the Rolling Stones' 2024 tour as the opening act in Arizona. The Latin Grammy winner and Grammy-nominated artist was chosen by the legendary British band to serve as a cultural and demographic bridge before their concert.

Scheduled for Tuesday, May 7 at Glendale's State Farm Stadium in Arizona, this collaboration promises to be a night of electrifying music and unforgettable moments within the STONES TOUR '24 HACKNEY DIAMONDS, which marks the return of the group led by Mick Jagger to the American stages, after the death of it's drummer Charlie Watts in 2021.

León, whose music seamlessly blends Mexican regional rhythms with rock and country influences, has been shattering barriers in the Latin music scene in recent months. The opportunity to open for the Rolling Stones catapults him leagues ahead in the industry. While the Stones have previously featured Latin music acts to kick off their shows in Latin America, until now, Juanes had been the sole artist with Spanish-language music to be bestowed with this honor.

"These are the things you dream of as a kid," he wrote on Instagram announcing the performance.

Carin León and the Mexican country

With a string of successes under his belt, including a Latin Grammy win for Best Norteño Album with "Colmillo de Leche," León has been making waves in the industry. His hit singles "Primera Cita" and "Según Quién" ft. Maluma soared to the Top 25 on Spotify and the Top 30 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, solidifying his position as a powerhouse in the Latin music scene.

Most recently, his collaboration with Grupo Frontera on the track "ALCH SI" soared to the #1 spot on Billboard's Regional Mexican Airplay chart, further cementing his status as a chart-topping sensation. Carin León sold-out U.S. arena tour for "Colmillo de Leche" saw him mesmerizing audiences across the country, from the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles to the Prudential Center in Newark and beyond.

Not one to shy away from groundbreaking collaborations, Carin León recently joined forces with country superstar Kane Brown for the song "The One (Pero No Como Yo)." This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both artists, bridging the worlds of American country music and música Mexicana. The track debuted in a show-stopping performance at this year's Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, showcasing the seamless fusion of their talents.

Adding to his list of achievements, Carin León made his debut at Nashville's iconic Grand Ole Opry, with Kane Brown cheering him on from the audience. This momentous occasion underscored León's rising prominence in the music industry and hinted at the limitless possibilities ahead for this extraordinary talent.

"It was amazing. For me as an artist, being from Mexico, for my country, it means a lot for us. That place is magical. I just repeated it a lot of times yesterday. I'm not a sensitive person, I never cry. But I couldn't stop crying. Yesterday, I cried five times. You can feel God when you enter that place," he said in an interview with Apple Music's Today's Country Radio with Kelleigh Bannen
