New rumors about the highly-anticipated film “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” have emerged online and it is being said a new promo trailer will be revealed as soon as April. Yahoo’s international web site is claiming a Tumblr page associated with the production of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” says the first promo trailer will arrive sometime in April, but that is as much as the blog shared.
It only makes sense that the first part of Mockingjay will see its first trailer this April that is if Lionsgate follows the same trend it did with “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” Like Catching Fire, the first part of Mockingjay is expected in theaters in November and last April we seen our first teaser promo trailer for the sequel of “The Hunger Games.” Hypable points out another possibility in that we can see a promo release attached to Lionsgate and Summits upcoming release “Divergent,” which hits theaters March 21.
Also the first poster for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” part one was released late last month. The new poster features a more detailed front-facing mockingjay pen on fire, as usual! Meanwhile the cast and crew are currently filming both parts of Mockingjay. Both films are directed by Francis Lawrence and star Jennifer Lawrence as (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne).
