Meghan Markle has reportedly been dubbed as a degree wife by royal aides due to a shocking reason. The cruel jibe came after the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to her and Prince Harry’s son.

According to the Sunday Times, the moniker was given to the “Suits” alum because royal aides are convinced that she will only last three years in the royal family. Prior to being called a degree wife, Meghan was also dubbed as “Duchess Difficult,” “Me-gain” and “Hurricane Meghan.”

Even before Meghan and Prince Harry tied the knot, it was revealed that the former Hollywood star has also posted some outrageous demands. She reportedly asked for air fresheners to be installed at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle before her nuptials. Upon learning about her request, Queen Elizabeth II refused to have the air fresheners installed out of respect to the building.

A source close to Prince Harry also said that the Duke of Sussex has cut ties with some of his pals who spoke negatively about his wife. “Anybody who voiced any kind of reservation about Meghan has been sidelined,” the source said.

On top of this, rumors have also claimed that Meghan is not getting along well with Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton. Last year, it was reported that Meghan made Kate cry during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting. However, staff from the Palace said that the rumors are not true.

Just recently, Meghan and Prince Harry also decided to split from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. After leaving Kensington Palace, the couple moved to Frogmore Cottage, where they are residing at the moment.

Meghan and Prince Harry have also split from the Royal Foundation, and they will be focusing mainly on their chosen charities. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also set up their own Instagram account after they split from Prince William and Kate.

But despite reports of an alleged feud, Meghan and Kate reunited at the Trooping the Colour earlier this month. The two female royals rode on the same horse-drawn carriage, and they were also spotted talking to each other.
