Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have been compared to each other ever since the Duchess of Sussex joined the royal family. However, an insider claimed that this shouldn’t be done because the two female royals are very different.

While speaking with Daily Mail, the source said that it is impossible to compare Meghan with Kate for the very reason that the Duchess of Cambridge is married to Prince William, the future king. Even though all eyes are on Meghan and Prince Harry at the moment, all the attention they are getting won’t last.

In the coming years, Prince William and Kate’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, will grow up, and the focus will return to the Cambridge clan. The trio, particularly Prince George, who will also become king one day, is the core of the royal family.

The comments of the insider came just days after it was revealed that Meghan has snubbed Queen Elizabeth II’s team of doctors to help her give birth to her first child. An insider claimed that Meghan wanted to hire her own team, which will be led by a female doctor.

“Meghan said she doesn’t want the men in suits,” the source said. “She was adamant that she wanted her own people. It did leave a few of us a little baffled,” the source added.

Another insider said that the Queen’s team of doctors is the best of the best, so the snub was a huge surprise. Even though Meghan refused to work with them, they will still be on standby inside the birthing room in case something happens.

Meanwhile, some insiders also came to Meghan’s defense and said that she will be the one to give birth and it is her baby, so the decision should be entirely up to her. “How could anyone judge her for that?” one source asked.

The Duchess of Sussex is scheduled to give birth sometime at the end of April or the beginning of May. As of late, it is still unclear where exactly she will give birth, but there are rumors that it won’t be at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing.
