Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale are seemingly ready to bury the hatchet between them. The former couple followed each other on Instagram just weeks after their split.

Earlier this week, Davidson followed the 45-year-old actress, and he also liked one of Beckinsale’s pictures with her parents. A few minutes later, Beckinsale followed her 25-year-old ex-boyfriend.

Sources told Page Six that Davidson and Beckinsale are trying to be amicable toward each other after their split. They also said that Davidson might have been the reason for the couple’s split.

“Even though Kate has been in Hollywood for a long time, she struggled with the attention on her relationship with Pete,” the source said. “He wears his heart on his sleeve,” the source added.

Beckinsale and Davidson’s split appeared to be a sore subject for the latter because he allegedly walked out of his show in Connecticut. The owner of Stress Factory Comedy Club in Bridgeport, Vinnie Brand, reportedly teased Davidson about his split from the actress.

A source told Page Six that Davidson asked Brand to not go out on stage but he did anyway. Brand also sarcastically requested the audience to refrain from asking questions about Davidson’s love life just to make fun of him. After walking out on his show, Davidson released a statement to his fans explaining what happened.

“I’m sorry that we had to leave the show before I got to go on,” he said. “The owner, Vinnie Brand, disrespected me, and did something that I told him not to do and I can’t perform under those circumstances. Sorry again. This isn’t your fault,” Davidson added.

Davidson also told fans who purchased tickets for his show in Connecticut that he would perform for them free. However, details about his upcoming gig have not yet been released.

Beckinsale and Davidson split last month only after a few months of dating. Prior to this, Davidson was engaged to Ariana Grande, but their relationship didn’t last either.
