The long wait for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) will finally be over. The latest game console from Sony is set to come out in the weeks to come. It will debut with some new launch titles and third party games, all to be released only if availed of at the full retail price.

With most trying to save as much money as they can, getting discounts is a must. For those who want to go that route, the best chances they have got a good game at a bit of a price off would be at the revamped PlayStation Store. The new site went live just a couple of weeks ago, a new version in preparation for the PS5’s coming.

Being a new site, it is hardly surprising that there are still kinks that need to be ironed out. As Video Games Chronicle pointed out, there are still some missing features such as the ability to filter listings, file size information and screenshots on game pages. With time to spare, these could be addressed moving forward.

Regardless, one thing that subscribers are unlikely to miss out on is the games offered at a discount. “Hitman 3” is being offered at a discount, something that varies depending on the game console it would be used for.

PlayStation 4 owners can get “Hitman 3” at 10% off. For those who plan to get it for the PS5, the discount is 20%. Though the price-off is not that much, it would be welcome to anyone looking to get a new game title, particularly for the PlayStation 5. This is only offered to gamers who are PlayStation Plus members.

Being a new game console, it would be best to lower expectations on other game titles getting a discount at the PlayStation Store. The price slash on “Hitman 3” has left some to contemplate if it is intended or a mistake. A reason for this is because the price offer for the PS5 is well within the price range of a new game from the previous console generation.

It remains to be seen if other games will get some kind of discount moving forward. The PS5 is set to launch on Nov. 12, 2020.
