Princess Beatrice still hasn’t found a designer who will create her wedding gown. After her engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi was announced, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson thought that wedding designers would be interested in creating a gown for her, but their response has been lukewarm.

A tabloid claimed that Princess Beatrice thought that fashion designers would be desperate to create her wedding dress because they fought hard to create the gowns of Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. But embarrassingly, Princess Beatrice has not received the same reaction from designers.

“She hasn’t heard a peep out of anyone and has had assistants calling around to see if any of the major fashion houses would be interested in making her gown,” an unnamed source told the tabloid. “At this point, rather embarrassingly, the response has been lukewarm and it looks like she might have to actually pay and design it for it herself,” the source added.

The unnamed source went on to say that Princess Beatrice is becoming more and more anxious because she knows that her wedding dress will be compared to the dresses of Kate, Meghan and her younger sister, Princess Eugenie. “She can’t shake this feeling that she’s an afterthought,” the source said.

Kate’s wedding dress was designed by Alexander McQueen, while Meghan’s wedding gown was created by Clare Waight Keller. Princess Eugenie’s gown, on the other hand, was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos. It’s unlikely that Princess Beatrice’s gown will be created by these designers.

As of late, Princess Beatrice and her fiancé’s wedding venue hasn’t been confirmed either. And their wedding date hasn’t been set. Kate and Prince William tied the knot at Westminster Abbey, while Meghan and Prince Harry, as well as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, sealed the deal at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

There are rumors suggesting that Princess Beatrice will also tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel. But some royal experts are convinced that her wedding may take place in Italy because this is where her fiancé is from. But other royal insiders claimed that this wouldn’t be the case because Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip cannot travel via plane due to old age.
