Samsung has scheduled a press event where the company will reveal new products for its Windows and Android phone lineups.
Monday, Samsung sent out invitations for the event, saying it will take place in London starting at 10 a.m. PDT and can be viewed on YouTube.
The event is called "Samsung Premier 2013," and the company specifically notes its Galaxy and Ativ line of devices within the invitation. Samsung uses its Galaxy brand for its top-of-the-line Android devices while Ativ is the brand it uses for devices running on the Windows Phone operating system.
Among the new devices being unveiled by Samsung it is also being announced that the new Galaxy S 4 Mini will be revealed as well.
This device would be a smaller version of its popular flagship phone, the Galaxy S 4, and the followup to last year's Galaxy S III mini. The GS3 mini was substantially less powerful than its larger counterpart, but it appears Samsung is willing to continue its mini lineup in order to cater to users who want a Samsung smartphone, but don't want a 5-inch screen.
The GS4 mini was posted to the Samsung U.K.'s site and shortly removed after so it is widely believed that the tech giants will be unveiling that device at the event.
It's unclear what else Samsung may have up their sleeve for this event, but its timing has setup another battle between Samsung and rival Apple.
WWDC, The Worldwide Developer Conference, is where Apple is set to unveil new products and software June 10, just ten days before Samsung's event.
