Toluca beat Chivas 1-0 in Estadio Nemesio Diez in Round 8 of Clausura 2014. Chivas tried to score at the beginning of the game but fell short. Toluca took advantage of the game and controlled the field. They found luck at the end of the game and that was Brizuela’s goal.
Toluca started the game stuttering but then they started playing better. Chivas tried but could not capitalize and in the end cost them the game. Brizuela had a great afternoon as he scored the winning goal, leading Toluca to victory. On the other side, Jorge Enriquez was not as lucky and did not perform that well. 22 thousand fans were present and enjoyed this close game. Jose Cardozo used the same lineup that won against Veracruz.
