Former US President Donald Trump is now taking a hiatus after losing to Joe Biden in the 2020 United States Presidential Elections. However, most see him running again in 2024 and it appears that is the case.

While that may hardly surprise many, his running mate for the Vice Presidency could be a bit of a surprise. Most saw Ivanka Trump as possibly vying for the top post at the 2024 United States Presidential elections but it appears she will do so by taking baby steps.

Trump will most likely dump Mike Pence and most are now giving their bet to be the 74-year-old’s running mate. And while certain qualifications are being suggested, it appears the likely candidate will be his daughter Ivanka.

A reason behind this is Donald Trump wants to have someone in the family and he can trust to be by his side. Recall that previously, some felt that the 39-year-old may run for Florida Governor, a reason why she moved to Washington. But these are things that are subject to change.

With the falling out between Trump and Pence, Ivanka Trump is seen as the logical choice to run as Vice President. The real estate mogul has spoken highly of her – including the belief that Ivanka could be a fine and suited president for the United States.

Trump feels that her daughter is way far better than Kamala Harris who could vie for the US presidency as well. The 74-year-old feel that constituents believe in her – yet another reason why speculations that she would try her luck for the top post is being suggested.

For now, all these are speculations and it remains to be seen if Ivanka Trump will pursue a government post. Running for Vice Presidency is an ambitious step but obviously a big one toward the main prize of them all – the United States Presidency.
